We had a great first visit to Explore Play Cafe! The space is clean, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed with lots of opportunities for imaginative, open-ended play. What really stood out to me is that the owners are occupational therapists. You can tell there's a strong understanding of child development behind the way the space is set up. It feels supportive, intentional, and child-centered. My daughter had a wonderful time exploring, and the drive from Corpus was absolutely worth it for us. We're already looking forward to coming back!

Such a fun, cute play space! We had my 4 year old daughter’s birthday there and it was such a perfect venue. From the coffee bar to the planned themed activities and games it was a wonderful experience. We had many compliments from our guests and the children that attended had a fabulous time. I would definitely recommend. Great variety of activities for many ages to enjoy and explore. We look forward to coming back soon.

Our 18 month old really enjoyed it here. He had fun the whole time from beginning to end. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. The beverages came out quick and they were delicious. Overall, we would recommend people to give this small business a try. You will not be disappointed!

We absolutely love Explore! My 18 month old always has a blast. It's nice to get out of our own home, into a new play area and thankful I don't have to drive into Corpus for a play place! Even my almost 6 year old begs me to take her when she is not at school. We especially love doing crafts there! We have a membership and it is totally worth it for us!

I scheduled a play time for my 1- year old for a Friday evening and she had an absolute blast! Our experience was incredibly positive. I booked the play time using a QR code from their business card & the app was user- friendly and simple to use and pay with. Reservations are preferred, but the owners also accommodate drop-ins. Upon arriving, I noticed there is plenty of parking and a wheelchair-accessible ramp. My first impression of the space is that it smelled nice and is VERY clean and well-kept. The owners were warm and welcoming and explained that they have designated play times and also cleaning times throughout the day which, as a concerned mom who is paranoid about contagious childhood sicknesses, this is a huge plus. Additionally, I also appreciate that they had a designated container to place items that my baby put her mouth on to be cleaned and that it's in an area unreachable to other kids. My baby played the entire 2 hours and socialized with other kids of varying ages. There were about 4-6 other children with their parents there and there was plenty of space to play and things to keep baby busy and interested. The cafe is actually owned by 2 practicing occupational therapists and they've done a great job in selecting purposeful toys and play structures that are great for sensory and motor development. My baby loved the trampoline and balance bike! On a side note too, I actually forgot to pack my baby snacks and I was relieved that they also sell concessions. Overall, the Explore Play Cafe is a great addition to the community. It's a safe and fun place for kids to play in a contained space, it takes the stress out of picking up toys at home constantly, it's a great place to beat the heat, and to get the kids excited and out of the house. I would highly recommend this establishment and I plan to return soon with friends. I look forward to seeing all the future events planned very soon!

My 3 year old had a blast! It’s so nice having an indoor play area in Portland. This was our first visit but we’ll definitely be back! The place was very clean and my coffee was delicious.
